Ballet Classes

Ballet Classes

In our ballet classes, we will begin from the study of basic elements of positions, steps, and simple jumps and turns and progress to longer combinations at the barre and in the center. We will learn the “shapes” of dance, like line, circle, and others. We develop musicality, etiquette and excitement of the ballet dance. It is designed simply to develop rhythm, co-ordination, good body shape and a lively imagination. For both, girls and boys, it can help with the development of a child’s personality bringing out an alert, confident manner.

OUR BALLET CLASSES:

For children ages 4 – 8

1) Pre-Ballet for ages 4 – 6.

This class is created to introduce a child to rhythm and motion through music, developing body coordination. It helps a child to develop motor skills by using classical music and simple ballet “Pas” (ballet movements). We concentrate our attention on movement, co-ordination, rhythm and memory, creating favorable conditions for instruction in ballet steps, as learning through games and fun routine of ballet exercises. Teachers through demonstration inspire the child to work intensively. The child will learn a discipline in ballet lessons, that is most important for this age .
2) Ballet A for ages 7 – 8.
This ballet class provides development and improvement in a student’s challenges, and progresses through complication of combination of step and ballet “Pas”, preparing them for a reasoned attitude to Ballet discipline. The student learns to control body co-ordination, to think what he/she does, to attach significance to every lesson. This class reveals new opportunities of ballet dance to the students.
